Our First Date
Nov, 2015
Our first date was amazing. We went to Sidmouth on a windy November day. Cozying up in Jamie's campervan by the sea, we sipped hot chocolate by a fire, enjoying the beauty of the coast. Later, we had a lovely meal at a charming pub, where the conversation flowed.
Discovering we shared the same birthday and a love for Blink-182 added a special touch to the evening. Driving home, we listened to our favorite songs, singing along and feeling such a connection. It was a perfect start to something special.
Our Travels

Our six-month journey around Asia was an incredible adventure that brought us closer than ever. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene beaches of Bali, every destination offered fantastic experiences and memories.
Whether we were hiking through lush jungles, diving into crystal-clear waters, or savoring exotic street food, we found that we loved doing the same things. We have a shared sense of adventure and similar outlooks on life which made everything so easy.
These travels were more than just a series of destinations; they made us appreciate our life together and made us look towards the future. We knew we wanted to be together.
Our Proposal

Our marriage proposal in Portugal went perfectly. We were there with Lis' family, and the moment felt just right. Jamie had asked Lis' dad for permission earlier, which made the upcoming moment even more meaningful.
The setting was a charming restaurant, a bit busy, but we were sat next to a beautiful tree adorned with fairy lights which created a beautiful backdrop. As the evening unfolded, Jamie felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness, knowing that this was the moment things would be changed forever, and would Lis say yes?!
When the time came, Jamie got down on one knee under the twinkling lights. The look of surprise and happiness on Lis' face was everything Jamie had hoped for. Lis' eyes sparkled and when she said "yes," it felt like the entire world had stopped for a moment, before the whole restaurant erupted in applause and celebration.
It was a dream come true, and we couldn't have imagined a better setting or a more perfect way start the rest of our lives together.
Our Engagement

Getting ready for our wedding has been a journey filled with laughter, creativity and a few debates. As the big day approached, we dove headfirst into the long list of planning and preparation.
Lis worked hard creating funky backdrops out of ribbons, weaving each strand to make a fab setting for our awesome band.
Meanwhile, Jamie took on the task of crafting mini golf courses, adding a fun activity to our celebration.
Of course, not every decision came easily. One memorable debate revolved around our first dance! What song do we choose!?!
As everything moves towards the 3rd May 2025 we hope you can make it as we cannot wait to celebrate our special day with you.
